To follow the NEET dress code 2022 correctly, it is mandatory for aspirants to check the following details:
Dress code for male aspirants:
• Male candidates must make sure they wear half-sleeves shirt/t-shirts during the examination. The full sleeves shirts are not allowed.
• Last year, the authority had mentioned that the clothes should be light which meant that zips, pockets, big buttons and elaborate embroidery should be avoided.
• Boys should not wear kurta-pyjamas, instead of that, they can prefer trousers on the D-day.
• Shoes are also not allowed, therefore, they can wear slippers and sandals
Dress code of female candidates:
• Female aspirants should avoid wearing clothes with more embroidery, flowers, brooches and buttons.
• The clothes should be light and half-sleeves
• For footwear, girls must wear slippers and sandals with low heels. Shoes are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
• Females are advised not to wear jewellery like earrings, rings, pendants, nose ring, necklace or any other ornaments at the time of examination.
• The customary dresses refer to traditional dresses or attire pertaining to a specific religion. Burqa and headscarves will be included in this. As per the order of Delhi High Court last year, Sikh aspirants were allowed to carry Kangha, Kara and Kirpan with them inside the examination hall. Such articles will be considered as customary articles.
• While filling the application form of NEET 2021, candidates will be asked whether they are intended to wear such customary dresses or any other clothing which is contrary to the dress code.
